Working with a therapist can provide insight and relief. A therapist can help you identify and change old patterns, beliefs and behaviors that may be impeding your level of life satisfaction, happiness and personal growth.
Your therapy can help you develop new and better ways of coping, problem solving, building more effective relationship skills, and increase your self-esteem.
My goals as a therapist are to:
• Work with what's right rather than only with what's wrong; help you recognize and act on your strengths in order to lead a more fulfilling life.
• Help you learn to manage your symptoms of depression or anxiety more productively and develop more effective coping skills.
• Help you embrace your aging as a rich part of the fabric of your life cycle.
• Encourage you to reach beyond your edge. I believe deep growth happens when we stretch just beyond our fears.
• Assist couples in reconnecting more deeply, re-romanticizing their relationship, working through anger and conflict.
